Amazon FBA Fee Calculator
Educational Amazon FBA worksheet: referral percent of revenue plus per-unit fulfillment, storage, and other Amazon fees, then optional product cost for contribution profit. All rates are user-entered.
Limitation: Educational FBA planning arithmetic only—not a Seller Central fee preview or payout.
How to Estimate Amazon FBA Fees
Copy referral percent and fulfillment tier amounts from Seller Central (or Amazon’s public fee pages), then model units and product cost.
Choose a display currency.
Negative net is a signal
Cheap ASINs can lose money after fulfillment. If net or contribution is negative, raise price, cut COGS, or change fulfillment strategy before you ship inventory.
What the Fee Total Means
Total Amazon-style fees combine referral (percent of revenue) with per-unit fulfillment, storage, and other Amazon fees. Net after Amazon fees is revenue minus that total. Contribution profit also subtracts product cost. Fees may exceed revenue.
Amazon FBA Fee Examples
$29.99 unit with illustrative US-style stack
Scenario inputs
Worksheet result
Referral $4.50 + FBA $5.47 + storage $0.50 = $10.47; net after Amazon $19.52; minus $8 COGS = $11.52.
Low-price unit where fees exceed revenue
Scenario inputs
Worksheet result
Referral $1.20 + $6 + $1 + $0.50 = $8.70 on an $8 sale leaves negative net before COGS.
Pair with margin tools
After you know contribution per unit, stress-test price with the profit margin and shipping cost calculators.
