Hotel, Rental Car, and Travel Time Worksheets
Trip budgets break when lodging, car hire, and drive time are vague. These educational worksheets multiply the rates and distances you paste from quotes—they do not scrape OTAs or map engines.
Hotel totals from nightly building blocks
Lodging subtotal = nightly rate × nights × rooms. Resort or destination fees multiply the same way when charged per room-night. Occupancy or lodging tax applies to (lodging + resort) at the percent you enter; a one-time cleaning fee is added after tax. That mirrors common quote lines without claiming any city’s official tax table.
Rental cars: base, insurance, miles, then tax
Start with daily rate × days, add insurance/LDW per day, one-way fees, other fees, and mileage overage when miles driven exceed the included allotment. A tax/airport-fee percent then applies to that subtotal—using percentages from your quote, not a scraped airport schedule.

Driving hours = distance ÷ average speed. Optional fixed break minutes and recurring rests every N driving hours add to total time. Average speed must already reflect traffic and terrain you expect; the worksheet does not pull live traffic.
